The Headwaters Arts and Conference Center is a year-round conference facility for weddings and receptions, conferences, educational meetings, art and music workshops, community functions, and corporate retreats. We are proud to host the Susan K. Black Foundation (SKB) annual rendezvous and workshop every September! Headwaters is also the home to the Wind River Valley Arts Guild and the Dubois Visitors Center. Come see the Warm Springs Art Gallery, spend some quiet time in the Joe and Mary Back library (and the soon-to-be-opened Joe and Mary Back museum), and learn local culture and knowledge.
Our grand, rustic building crafted from timber and stone opened in 1996. Headwaters is the heart of Dubois, Wyoming! Dubois is nestled in the Wind River Valley between the grand Wind River Mountains and the volcanic Absarokas. The Wind River flows through town and alongside our facility. In Dubois, you will discover a place where the West still lives.
Our venue offers space for both business and private functions. Outdoor weddings are beautiful, especially set on a river below mountains. Our all-in-one packages make weddings easy–planning your special day doesn’t need to feel stressful! We accommodate business, club, nonprofit, and other groups’ events indoors and outdoors with the same ease.
The Headwaters Arts and Conference Center can accommodate large and small groups: Our rooms and amenities make your next event easy to plan and entirely unforgettable. We are proud of our Wind River Room’s state-of-the-art acoustics and audio-visual equipment. Our commercial kitchen comes equipped with everything you’ll need to cater your event, from linens and silverware to ovens and refrigerators.
Our staff is eager to make your experience as easy and as enjoyable as we can. We look forward to meeting you soon!
